A Light Gone Wrong

The Radiance is not itself a Blessing. Among the Called it is the visible aura that may accompany the active channeling of a Blessing. In a fallen Called Guardian, that manifestation may become subtly or unmistakably wrong.

There is no single appearance. It may be dimmed, cold, bruised in hue, unnaturally sharp, or deceptively similar to ordinary Radiance. The degree to which corruption can be recognized from the Radiance is deliberately uncertain; appearance alone is not a reliable test.

This uncertainty is one reason Dark Templars inspire such fear. A corrupted Guardian need not advertise what has happened.
