Overview
Carthmoor is a large human kingdom on Brydd, formed 1,250 years ago when Maedar Jordayne united the Five Marches beneath his crown.
Today, Carthmoor remains a strongly hierarchical realm shaped by the Crown, the Great Houses, the Church of Ceros, and the obligations of land, service, and sworn allegiance.
The death of King Jorrel II has placed the kingdom under the temporary rule of Queen Regent Maessa Jordayne while the High Council determines which eligible member of House Jordayne will next occupy the Sapphire Throne.
