Aereth is designed for collaborative writers who enjoy character-driven stories without turning roleplay into a second job. Our pace is flexible, our stories can range from quiet character scenes to major political and world events, and Vesta handles much of the tedious forum bookkeeping for us.

Aereth runs on Vesta, forum software built specifically for online storytelling RPGs. Some of its features include:

No Mandatory Activity Checks

Aereth does not conduct mandatory activity checks. Vesta handles account activity automatically. If real life pulls you away, come back when you can; we simply ask that you communicate with your writing partners when you are involved in an active plot.

No Mandatory Word Count

Aereth has no mandatory word count. A good reply is one that gives your writing partners something to work with and moves the story forward.

Character Freedom

Except for special character categories such as Travelers, Aereth does not impose a general character limit. Create the characters you genuinely want to write and can reasonably manage.
