Public Knowledge

Most Cerosians know Dark Templars chiefly through warning, history, and frightening stories: Guardians who turned against the Light and used the Order's own strengths against those they once protected. Their rarity has done little to lessen their reputation.

Guardian Knowledge

Guardians know more, particularly that ordinary members may fall without supernatural transformation and that the corruption of the Called is possible but exceptionally rare. Training stresses that the most dangerous corruption may remain concealed.

Game Canon

The precise mechanisms of Shadow Corruption, the full behavior and limits of corrupted Blessings, signs by which particular Dark Templars may be identified, relationships with Baara or other Shadow powers, and methods of redemption or cleansing are intentionally not fixed as common public knowledge. These remain available for discovery and story.
